There are a lot of similarities between American English slang and British English slang. I speak with Brits (British people) all the time. I hear them use the word “sick” as well. They often use it in the same, or similar ways, as Americans. As with all slang words, there are very small differences regarding how they are used. This lesson focuses on how Americans, in general, use the word “sick”. I’m going to teach both the literal meanings and the common slang uses of the word “sick”.
